There’s a time and a place for them but if you’re putting too much… weight (sorry!) on the numbers you might be letting them dictate how you feel, which will impact your day, and over time chip away at your self worth…🫠
I want you to be dieting from a good place, you don’t have to love every single ounce of your body right now, but starting a fat loss phase with a positive mindset is a much happier experience than hating yourself into change.
Using the scales as a measure of progress is fine, but if you’re letting the scale determine your self-worth each week something has to change.
You’ve got two options:
1️⃣ Stop stepping on the scale completely, use how you feel, progress photos or a piece of clothing to track changes.
2️⃣ Step on every day, see the daily fluctuations and start to become less emotionally attached to your weight and just see the numbers as numbers …maybe you’re dehydrated, maybe you’re super-hydrated, maybe it’s food volume etc.
I’m curious, do you weigh yourself?
What you waiting for?
